Training Turned to a Funny Nightmare

August 4, 2012 7:12AM

I woke up early because I remembered I have to go to school for training for online writing. I’m competing in Judge Juan Luna HS on Monday. Even though it’s cold, I have to take a shower. LOL

Waiting for almost two hours with the other journalists, we finally decided to go home. But as we head towards to the gate, Mrs. A* appeared. I thought it was good sign. Well, I stand corrected. The closer we get to her, the clearer the view we see of a sad face.”I will be taking over you for today because your adviser is confined. But no biggie, she’ll be okay soon.” We were all shocked to the thing she just said. It was just yesterday she went to  guide the photojournalists to their contest and now, she’s extremely ill. 😦

We are all in the speech laboratory of our school. Some people call t the computer room, for it is a room that have 25 computers in it. They have this gate kind of thing before the room. And in front of the room is where the Filipino Journalism Classes takes place. SO we can see the other room’s window. (If you are confused, here’s my ugly drawing:)

Nikki is using the laptop, writing for the hazing issue-thingy. While I am just annoying other people with their jobs. Haha! After a couple of hours (or maybe one hour and a half, she’s finally done. I am reading some articles online to get some infos and ‘inspiration’; turned on my favorite song for me to focus and ignore all of the people around me. And then, I type……

I’m halfway in finishing my blog post where all of a sudden, out of nowhere…

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! Ayoko na! Ayoko na! May tao dun sa journ room ng Filipino!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!

My heart fell down from my head when I heard Cee* scream the hell out of her lungs. I slammed the laptop screen shut to confront the now crying girl. When all of us where kind-of hurdling, we asked what happened. She answered:

Gusto ko nang umuwi kaya tumingin muna ako sa labas. Tapos pag-labas ko, mat tao sa journ room sa kabila. Basta, naka-silip siya!!

We quite didn’t understand what she said. But that’s the idea. We decided to ask our other friend, MJ – who was with Cee, when we didn’t decipher what she’s blabbering about. She said:

Ilaw – The title of the Filipino Newspaper), kaya nga diba Cee wala akong takot na lumabas pa lalo. Kaso, pagtingin ko sa pintuan, naka-padlock! Kaya sumigaw na kami ni Cee papasok.

At first, I thought they’re just joking. Actually, we all thought the two of them was joking. When some of us peeked out from the window, we saw writings on the whiteboard of the other room. But that is just the list of the parts of the newspaper. I decided to call the others for us to go outside and ‘investigate’.

August 4, 2012 12:45AM

The room is locked.. it is locked real good. I turned my laptop off because we decided to go home. But minutes before that happens we tried to ‘investigate’ again. And I concluded to them that what they saw is a real ghost!!

It is impossible for them to see someone in the room because it is locked. DUH! And it’s also not or reflections because the window glass in the Filipino news room can’t reflect anything. Oh my, we really have to go home!!

The classes are suspended because of the heavy rain. The competition is postponed until further notice. The training we had last Saturday for nothing, shees! Oh well, at least we had a blast.

The classes are suspended and MM is now on code red. Oh Jesus Christ, help us.
